Recipes using a bar spoon:

Watermelon Sour Sling:

  • 4 cl Watermelon Syrup
  • 2 cl Sweet and Sour
  • 4 pieces of watermelon
  • Soda water
    Instructions:
    Place the watermelon pieces in your highball glass and muddle them with your muddler. Then add the remaining ingredients and stir with your bar spoon. Top off with soda water.

Mango Mojito:

  • 4 cl Mango Rum
  • 3 cl Modo Mango
  • 4 lime wedges
  • 1½ tsp cane sugar
  • Fresh mint leaves
  • Crushed ice
    Instructions:
    Add lime and sugar to your lowball glass and muddle vigorously. Add the mint leaves and muddle gently to avoid tearing them. Add crushed ice and rum, then stir with your bar spoon. Top with soda.


Sazerac

  • 6 cl Rittenhouse Rye Whiskey
  • 3 dashes of Peychaud’s Bitters
  • 1 bar spoon simple syrup
  • Dash of absinthe
    Instructions:
    Add all ingredients to your mixing glass and fill with ice. Stir with your twisted bar spoon. Strain the contents into your cocktail glass and serve.

Caipirinha Recipe:

  • 6 cl Cachaça
  • 6-8 lime wedges
  • 2-3 bar spoons sugar
    Instructions:
    Add lime and sugar to your lowball glass and muddle vigorously. Add crushed ice and Cachaça, then stir with your bar spoon. Top with more crushed ice.

Mint Julep Recipe:

  • 6 cl Bourbon
  • 2 dashes Angostura bitters
  • 1 sugar cube
  • 1 handful of mint leaves
  • 1 cl soda water
    Instructions:
    Place the sugar cube in your mint julep cup and dash 2 drops of Angostura on the sugar. Use your muddler to crush the sugar. Add the mint and bourbon, and gently muddle again to release the flavors. Add crushed ice and stir.
