We also use the information collected during your visit to show you so-called banner ads. This concerns the display of advertisements that we link to on third-party sites. This mostly happens through the use of so-called cookies or pixels. It is our goal to design the advertising offer more useful and interesting, and therefore in connection with the banner advertising you will preferably see products that you have already seen on our site, or products that are similar to the products you have seen (so-called remarketing). As part of banner advertising, we work exclusively with pseudonymous data; information in plain language about you (e.g. your name or your e-mail address) is not inserted into cookies.

You will find further information about cookies, pixels and remarketing under Section 4 and Section 7 of these provisions.

It is possible to complain to the Data Protection Authority at the following link: https://www.datatilsynet.dk if you do not think that Bargear fulfills our role well enough or otherwise does not comply with the provisions of the Data Regulation.

Section 4. Cookies
An acceptance of cookies is not a prerequisite for a visit to our web pages. However, we point out that our website and service only contain limited functionality if you do not allow us to insert cookies.

What are cookies?
Cookies are small files which are saved on your hard drive and which store certain settings and information for exchange with our system via your browser. There is a basic distinction between 2 different types of cookies, so-called session cookies, which are deleted as soon as you close your browser, and temporary/permanent cookies, which are stored for a longer period of time or indefinitely on your hard drive. This storage helps us to design our website and our offers to you accordingly, and facilitates your use, as, for example, certain information from you is saved so that you do not have to repeat them all the time.

Which cookies does Bargear.dk use?
Most of the cookies used by us are automatically deleted again after the end of your browser session (hence the name session cookies). Session cookies are required, for example, to be able to offer you the Shopping Cart function across multiple pages. In addition, we also use cookies, which remain on your hard drive. On a further visit, it is thus automatically identified that you have already been with us and which loadings and settings you prefer. These temporary or permanent cookies (lifetime from 1 month to up to 10 years) are stored on your hard drive and are deleted by themselves after the set time. In particular, these cookies are used to make our offer more user-friendly, efficient and secure. Thanks to these files, it is possible, for example, that you receive information on the page that is specially tailored to your interests. The sole purpose of these cookies is to adapt our offer to your customer wishes as best as possible and to make it as pleasant as possible for you to surf the web with us.

What information is stored in cookies?

Only pseudonymous information is stored in the cookies used by Bargear.dk. When a cookie is activated, it is assigned an identification number, and no assignment of your personally sensitive information to this identification number is made. Your name, your IP address or similar data, which could enable a direct assignment of this cookie to you, is not inserted into this cookie. On the basis of the cookie technology, we only receive pseudonymised information, for example about which pages are visited in our shop, which products are viewed, etc.

What is remarketing?
On the Bargear.dk website, data is collected to optimize our advertising and the overall online offer on the basis of cookie technology. This data is not used to identify you personally, but is used exclusively for a pseudonymous analysis of the use of the website. With this technology, we can present you with advertising and/or special offers and services, the content of which is based on information obtained in the context of the clickstream analysis (for example, advertising aimed at those who in recent days have exclusively were seen on shakers). The goal for us is to design our online offer as attractive as possible for you, and to present advertising to you that corresponds to your areas of interest.

Are there also cookies from third-party providers (so-called third-party cookies)?

Bargear.dk periodically uses individual advertising partners who help design the internet offer and the website so that they are more interesting for you. Therefore, when you visit the website, cookies from partner companies are also sometimes stored on your hard drive. These are temporary/permanent cookies, which are automatically deleted after the set time. These temporary or permanent cookies (lifetime from 14 days to up to 10 years) are stored on your hard drive and are deleted by themselves after the set time. Cookies from our partner companies also contain only pseudonymous, and mostly even anonymous, data. This concerns, for example, data for which products you have looked at, whether something was purchased, which products were searched for, etc. And here some of our advertising partners also register via the websites information about which pages you have visited before or which products you are interested in, for example, in order to be able to show you the advertising that best matches your interests.

Remarketing

Our websites use so-called retargeting technologies here. We use these technologies to design the internet offer so that it is more interesting for you. This technique makes it possible to address users who have already shown interest in our shop and our products with advertising on our partners' websites. We are convinced that the display of a customized, interest-related ad is usually more interesting for the Internet user than ads that do not possess such a personal reference. The display of these advertising means on the pages of our partners takes place on the basis of cookie technology and an analysis of previous user behavior. This form of advertising is completely pseudonymous.

When using our site, cookies are inserted and thus information about you is collected, stored and used. Furthermore, your information is stored in cookies after the end of your browser session and can, for example, be retrieved again on your next visit to the web pages.

How can you prevent the storage of cookies?

In your browser, you can set that cookies are only accepted if you give consent to them, and thus prevent a further insertion of cookies in the future. If you only want to accept Bargear.dk cookies, but not cookies from our service providers and partners, you can select the option "Block cookies from third-party providers" in your browser.

As a rule, you can see in the menu bar of your web browser via the help function how to reject new cookies and disable cookies that have already been received.

5. Log files

With each access to Bargear.dk, data about the use is transmitted via the internet browser in question and stored in protocol files, the so-called server log files. The data records stored in this way contain the following data: Date and time of download, name of the downloaded page, IP address, referrer URL (origin URL from which you came to the web pages), the amount of data transferred, as well as product and version information for the browser used. We analyze these log file data records in order to further improve our offer and Bargear.dk and to make them more user-friendly, to find and remedy errors more quickly and to manage server capacity. At the same time, we use the log file data records to ward off attacks on Bargear.dk, e.g. in the form of so-called Distributed Denial of Service Attacks, which aim to block access to Bargear.dk via an overload of requests.

6. Web analysis
In order to constantly improve and optimize our offer, we use so-called tracking technologies. For this purpose, we use the services of Google Analytics.

6.1 Google Analytics
This website uses Google (Universal) Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. (www.google.de). Google (Universal) Analytics uses methods that enable an analysis of your use of the website, such as so-called "cookies", text files that are stored on your computer. The generated information about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Due to the activation of the IP anonymization on this website, the IP address is shortened before transmission within the member states of the European Union or in other contracting states under the agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transferred to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. The anonymized IP address transmitted from your browser as part of Google Analytics is not combined with other data at Google.

You can prevent the recording of the information generated by this cookie and referring to your use of the website (including your IP address) to Google as well as the processing of this information by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available via the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=dk.

As an alternative to this browser plug-in, you can click on this link to prevent registration with Google Analytics in the future on this website. Thereby, an opt-out cookie is placed on your device. If you delete your cookies, you must click on the link again.

Section 9. Deletion of Your Data.
Bargear ApS stores your data for 5 years from your last activity as a customer, for accounting reasons. After this, all data is deleted automatically.

Section 10. Data processor and data processor agreements
Bargear ApS has entered into data processing agreements with all affiliated data processors, for example PR companies, Hosting, developers, accountants, etc. What all these data processors have in common is that they only process data on behalf of Bargear ApS, they therefore never process data for their own purposes and must therefore not use the information provided for anything other than the performance of tasks assigned by Bargear Aps
