This type of cocktail shaker has become incredibly popular recently. It's a twist on the traditional Boston shaker. Composed of a standard Boston shaker and a uniquely designed "speed tin," this French-styled cocktail shaker has quickly gained popularity. Boston shakers are especially favored because, unlike three-piece shakers, they allow for easier control when pouring with a strainer. This type of shaker has become so widespread that it’s a standard in bars around the world. In Denmark, three-piece shakers are primarily found in smaller cafés, while Boston shakers are the favorite among bartenders.

Recipes for This Shaker:

Espresso Martini

• 5 cl Vodka
• 3.5 cl Coffee Liqueur
• 1 shot Espresso
• Ice Cubes
  Instructions:
  Add all ingredients to your cocktail shaker and shake well. Strain the mixture into your martini glass and garnish with a couple of coffee beans.

Cosmopolitan

• 2 cl Cointreau
• 4 cl Vodka
• 4 cl Cranberry Juice
• 2 cl Freshly Squeezed Lime Juice
• 1 tsp Grated Orange Peel
• Ice Cubes
  Instructions:
  Add all ingredients to your cocktail shaker and shake well. Strain the mixture into your martini glass. Remember to use a fine strainer to remove all ice shards.

Winter Spice Daiquiri:

• 3 cl Diplomatico Rum
• 2 cl Cointreau
• 1.5 cl Winter Spice Syrup
• Ice Cubes
  Instructions:
  Add all ingredients to your cocktail shaker and shake well. Serve in a martini or coupe glass.

Margarita Recipe:

• 3 cl Tequila
• 3 cl Cointreau
• 1 cl Lime Juice
• 1 cl Simple Syrup
• Ice Cubes

Instructions:
Add all ingredients to your cocktail shaker and shake well. Using your strainer, pour the mixture into your margarita glass.
If you want to go all out with salt, make sure to rim the glass with salt before pouring the drink. This can be done with margarita salt.

Amaretto Sour

• 4.5 cl Amaretto Syrup
• 0.5 cl Simple Syrup
• 3 cl Whiskey or Bourbon
• 3 cl Lemon Juice
• 1.5 cl Egg White
  Instructions:
  Add all ingredients to your cocktail shaker and shake well. Strain the mixture into your lowball glass.
  Remember to shake without ice and use a mixing spring to prevent the egg white from clumping.
