Tawala Huella – extra-aged Venezuelan rum

Tawala Huella is an extra-aged Venezuelan rum produced by Alcoholes Larenses. It combines rum distillates matured for 6–8 years in oak barrels and is bottled at 47% ABV. Huella appeals to rum enthusiasts looking for a rich, complex expression with pronounced oak character.

What does Tawala Huella taste like?

Tasting notes include dried fruit, candied orange, chocolate, vanilla and toasted oak. Its full-bodied character brings together fruity, spicy and woody flavours with a long finish.

Production and barrel ageing

Huella blends rums produced by different distillation methods, including pot still and column distillation. According to the producer, it contains no added sugar or artificial colouring. Its amber colour develops during maturation in oak barrels.

How to serve Tawala Huella

Enjoy Huella neat in a tasting glass, allowing it a few minutes to open up. It also works in a Rum Old Fashioned or other spirit-forward cocktails where the rum takes centre stage.
