Nick & Nora - Incredibly delicious and elegant glass from the Libbey - SPKSY series.
SPKSY finds their inspiration from the Speakeasy bars that were found in several places in the USA in the early and mid-1900s. These delicious and elegant designs have quickly earned them a place at the country's cocktail bars.

What is Speakeasy?
It is a bar style that emerged during "prohibition" in the USA, where the consumption of alcohol was illegal. The speakeasy style has gained new popularity over the past few years and glass from that time period is seen in more and more places.


 

Drink recipes with cocktail glasses and Speakeasy drinks:

Dry Martini:

• 8 cl. Gin
• 2 cl. Dry Vermouth
• 1 dash Orange bitters

Manhattan:

• 5 cl. Rye or Canadian whiskey
• 2 cl. Sweet Vermouth
• 1 Dash Angostura bitters

Sazerac

• 5 cl Whiskey
• 1 dash of Angostura
• 1 cl pernod
• 1 sugar cube
• Sparkling water
  Procedure:
  Put the sugar cube in the glass and pour the Angostura over it.

Rob Roy

• 4 cl Whiskey
• 4 cl sweet Vermouth
• 1 dash splash of Angostura
  Procedure:
  Put all ingredients in your mixing glass and stir. Strain the contents into your cocktail glass or coupe glass.
  

Mary Pickford

• 4.5 cl light rum
• 4.5 cl fresh pineapple juice 
• 0.5 cl grenadine syrup
• 0.75 cl Maraschino liqueur
  Procedure:
  Put all ingredients in your mixing glass and stir with your whisk. Strain the contents with your strainer into your cocktail glass or coupe glass. Classic but incredibly delicious cocktail.
