Recipes with peeled garnish

Old fashioned

  • 6 cl whiskey
  • 3 splashes of angostura
  • 1 tsp. sugar 1 dash water
  • Ice cubes
    Course of action:
    Sugar is soaked with the angostura in a lowball glass.
    Then everything is stirred with a little water and the whiskey is poured in together with a few ice cubes.
    Garnish with a peeled slice of orange and a cocktail berry.



Sazerac

  • 6 cl Rittenhouse Rye Whiskey
  • 3 dashes of Peychaud's Bitters
  • 1 rough sugar syrup
  • Dash absinthe
    Course of action:
    With your strainer or julep strainer, strain the contents into your cocktail lowball glass .
    Garnish with a peeled slice of orange and a cocktail berry.



Diamonback

  • 4.5 cl Rittenhouse Rye Whiskey
  • 2cl Calvados
  • 2 cl Green Chartreuse
    Course of action:
    Put all ingredients in your mixing glass and add ice. Stir until the cocktail has cooled and see the contents in your cocktail lowball glass.
    With your peeler, peel a strip from the orange and use as a garnish


Brooklyn:

  • 6 cl. Rittenhouse Rye Whiskey
  • 3 cl. Noilly prat Dry vermouth
  • 1 cl maraschino liqueur
  • 1cl Amer Picon
    Course of action:
    Put all ingredients in your mixing glass and add ice. Stir until the cocktail has cooled and see the contents in your cocktail lowball glass.
    With your peeler, peel a strip from the orange and use as a garnish


    Manhattan:
  • 5 cl Rittenhouse Rye Whiskey
  • 2 cl sweet vermouth
  • Dash Angostura bitters
  • Garnish with Maraschino berries


Jasmine:

  • 2 cl Campari
  • 4.5 cl of gin
  • 3 cl triple sec
  • 1.5 cl Lemon juice
    Course of action:
    Stir all the ingredients in a mixing glass . Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
    Garnish with a lemon twist, where the oils from the lemon peel are pressed over the cocktail.
