1. First, unscrew all the parts.
2. Fill the bottom part with regular water.
3. Place the filter in without the water reaching above the holes.
4. Fill the filter with finely ground Italian coffee - without pressing it down.
5. Screw the top part with the handle on tightly.
6. Now place the pot over the gas flame with the lid closed.
7. Turn off when the pot starts to sputter and make noise. Do not let the coffee boil.
8. It is important to stir the coffee before serving.
9. Never wash the espresso pot with dish soap or in the dishwasher! It should only be rinsed.

What is espresso?
The word espresso refers to the way the coffee is made, specifically the brewing method. The first step is to finely grind 7-10g of beans, typically done directly into the espresso machine's filter, then lightly tamped into a firm mass.
