This Boston shaker is one of the most popular cocktail shakers among bartenders and servers. It's incredibly easy to work with and can be used with either a Boston glass or a speed tin. Boston shakers are particularly popular because, unlike three-piece shakers, they allow for easier control of the subsequent pouring with a strainer. This type of shaker has become so widespread that it is now a standard worldwide. In Denmark, three-piece shakers are primarily found in smaller cafés, while the Boston shaker is the bartender's favorite.

Recipes to use with this shaker:

Espresso Martini

• 5 cl Vodka
• 3.5 cl coffee liqueur
• 1 shot Espresso
• 3 ice cubes
  Instructions:
  Combine all ingredients in your cocktail shaker and shake well. Strain the contents into your martini glass and garnish with a couple of coffee beans.

Cosmopolitan

• 2 cl Cointreau
• 4 cl vodka
• 4 cl cranberry juice
• 2 cl freshly squeezed lime juice
• 1 piece of grated orange peel
• ice cubes
  Instructions:
  Combine all ingredients in your cocktail shaker and shake well. Strain the contents into your martini glass. Remember to use a fine strainer to remove all ice crystals.

White Lady

• 4 cl gin
• 3 cl Cointreau
• 1 cl sugar syrup
• 2 cl freshly squeezed lemon juice
• 1 cl egg white
• 1 slice of lemon
• ice cubes
  Instructions:
  Combine all ingredients in your cocktail shaker and shake well. Strain the contents into your martini glass. Remember to use a fine strainer to remove all ice crystals.
  
  

Margarita Recipe:

• 3 cl tequila
• 3 cl Cointreau
• 1 cl lime juice
• 1 cl sugar syrup
• ice cubes
  Instructions:
  Combine all ingredients in your cocktail shaker and shake well. Using your strainer, pour the contents into your margarita glass.
  If you want to go all out with salt, make sure to rim the glass with salt before pouring the drink. This can be done with margarita salt.

Cherry Bitter Spritzer

• 1 cl Monin Cherry Purée
• 1 cl Cherry syrup
• 4 cl vodka
• 3 cl cranberry juice
• 2 cl lime juice
  Instructions:
  Combine all ingredients in your cocktail shaker and shake well. Then strain the contents with your strainer and fine strainer into your chilled martini glass. Optionally garnish with a raspberry or a fresh cherry on the glass.
