Frother for making the right milk foam for your cappuccino or café latte. For this, it is important that you have a good pitcher to froth the milk in. This pitcher has the iconic shape we all know and which everything from private to professional baristas use. The shape is important so that you can get the right 'spin' in the coffee.
When you want a delicious coffee - mocha - cappuccino etc. Can we e.g. recommend our large selection of coffee syrup , which can be used to "spice up" coffee a little extra.
What is a café latte?
A "latte" is probably one of the most popular coffee drinks - especially in Danish cafes. It originates from Italy and can be briefly described as "coffee with milk".
Specifically, it consists of:
- 1/3 espresso
- 2/3 skimmed, creamy warm milk with milk jug.
In the video below, you can see and learn how to make the perfect Cafe Latte.
Cappuccino
A Cappuccino consists of equal parts Espresso, hot milk and milk foam. Cappuccino is more popular in several cafes in Denmark and not least in Italy. You will often have it served in a large coffee cup with a fine sprinkle of cocoa or pattern on top.
What is Americano
At first glance, an Americano and a regular filter coffee appear very similar - but there is a significant difference in how you brew them - and this also affects the taste. An Americano consists of:
- (1/3) concentrated Espresso shot
- (2/3) boiled hot water
What is espresso?
The word espresso refers to the way coffee is made. That is, the very way the coffee is brewed. The first step is to finely grind 7-10g of beans, this is typically done directly into the filter of the espresso machine, after which it is lightly pounded into a firm mass. If you have an automatic or fully automatic espresso machine, the machine does this itself. See also our Coffee stamper and mocha brewer.
What is Ristretto?
A Ristretto is a "short version" of an espresso, where the brewing is interrupted halfway through. It gives a very dark and concentrated coffee.
