Boston shaker – cocktail shaker in Gun Metal.

This Boston shaker is one of the most popular cocktail shakers among bartenders, servers, and more. It's incredibly easy to use and can be paired with either a Boston glass or a Speed tin. Boston shakers are particularly popular because, unlike three-piece shakers, they allow for easier control during the pouring process with a strainer. This type of shaker has become so widespread that it has become the standard worldwide. In Denmark, you primarily find three-piece shakers in smaller cafes, while the Boston shaker remains the favorite among bartenders.

 

Recipes where this shaker can be used:

Espresso Martini

• 5 cl Vodka
• 3.5 cl coffee liqueur
• 1 shot Espresso
• 3 ice cubes
  Instructions:
  Combine all ingredients in your cocktail shaker and shake well. Strain the contents into your martini glass and garnish with a couple of coffee beans.
   

Cosmopolitan

• 2 cl Cointreau
• 4 cl vodka
• 4 cl cranberry juice
• 2 cl freshly squeezed lime juice
• 1 piece of grated orange peel
• ice cubes
  Instructions:
  Combine all ingredients in your cocktail shaker and shake well. Strain the contents into your martini glass. Remember to use a fine strainer to remove all ice crystals.

White Lady

• 4 cl gin
• 3 cl Cointreau
• 1 cl simple syrup
• 2 cl freshly squeezed lemon juice
• 1 cl egg white
• 1 slice of lemon
• ice cubes
  Instructions:
  Combine all ingredients in your cocktail shaker and shake well. Strain the contents into your martini glass. Remember to use a fine strainer to remove all ice crystals.

Margarita Recipe:

• 3 cl Tequila
• 3 cl Cointreau
• 1 cl lime juice
• 1 cl simple syrup
• Ice cubes
  Instructions:
  Combine all ingredients in your cocktail shaker and shake well. Using your strainer, pour the contents into your margarita glass.
  If you want to go all out with salt, make sure to rim the glass with salt before pouring the drink. This can be done using margarita salt.
